While Requesting the AG Office, the pensioner has to attach the copy of Pensioner Portion of PPO and furnish the following details for vetting:-

  • a) GPF/CPF/PRAN No.
  • b) Name Of Govt.servant
  • c) Designation on the date of retirement.
  • d) Date of birth
  • e) Date of Joining
  • f) Date of retirement(if any)
  • g) Date of death(if any)
  • h) Mobile Number
  • i) PPO No.

Q 2. How can I apply for Pension online?

To apply for Pension online please visit Employee Portal (https://jkuber.gov.in/emp) and login with your GPF/CPS number and password. If you are not registered then register yourself first. After logging in go to Pension Papers>Generate Pension Papers. Select पेंशन निर्धारण and follow accordingly. If a pensioner is unable to apply the pension online due to lack of knowledge then the concerned DDO can also apply the same via DDO Login on theEmployee Portal.

Q 3. How can I apply for Pension Revision online?

To apply for Pension Revision online please visit Employee Portal (https://jkuber.gov.in/emp) and login with your GPF/CPS number and password. If you are not registered then register yourself first. After logging in go to Pension Papers>Generate Pension Papers. Select पेंशन पुनरीक्षण and follow accordingly. Q 4. When I’m verifying the PPO number error message of “This PPO no. **** is not in *** Treasury. Please contact ***** Treasury” is displayed.

Contact your concerned treasury and get the PPO number added.

Q 5. How can I apply for online Pension Revision of Jharkhand pensioners receiving their pension from other state?

To apply for online Pension Revision of Jharkhand pensioners receiving their pension from other state please visit Employee Portal (https://jkuber.gov.in/emp) and login with your GPF/CPS number and password. If you are not registered then register yourself first. After logging in follow the steps below:

  • Go to Pension Papers>Generate Pension Papers.
  • Selecting Pension Revision (पेंशन पुनरीक्षण)
  • In the Treasury list box select Other State.
  • Fill in the Application number and other details and verify.
  • After successful verification the system takes you back to first page. Fill in the pension paper as usual and apply for revision.

Q 6. Why am I unable to fill the Pension Conversion (रूपान्तरण)?

You must have missed to select पेंशन रूपान्तरण on first page. Select पेंशन रूपान्तरण and then proceed.

Q 10. What is the process of applying for Pension in Death Case?

The process to apply for Pension in Death case is as follows:
a. The concerned DDO should login on the Employee Portal by using the DDO Login link. In Death case it is mandatory that the Pension application must be done by the DDO.
b. Before applying for pension in Death Case a DDO must ensure that the Retirement condition in the Employee Profile of the Pensioner has been changed to Death and the Date of Death has been updated in the system. The necessary changes in the Employee Profile can be made under DDO Wise Employee Management option by using the DDO Level Bill Management System.
c. After successful login search for the dead pensioner by Name or GPF/CPS number.
d. Click on continue in the last coloumn of the list.
e. Fill the pension paper and process as per the norms.

Q 11. What to do if Pensioner’s signature is not visible under the signature spaces of Undertaking form, pages 7 and 8?

You must have missed to upload the signature. Go to documents upload page and check whether pensioner’s signature (हस्ताक्षर) has been uploaded or not. If the signature is uploaded and still not visible then contact PMU, Finance.

Q 12. I have applied for e-Pension from Employee Portal and forwarded the same to DDO. Now what?

Once the e-Pension Paper has been successfully forwarded to the concerned DDO please contact your DDO office for further processing of the Pension. Under the normal procedure DDO will forward the pension paper to Sanction Authority and Sanction Authority will forward the same to AG. Exceptionally if the DDO and Sanction Authority are same for the pensioner then the DDO may forward the pension paper directly to AG.

Q 13. How will a DDO/Sanction Authority/AG process the e-Pension paper?

To process the Pension Paper online the DDO/ Sanction Authority/AG must login through Office Login option on e-Pension Portal (https://jkuber.gov.in/jpension/). After login options are available to process the Pension Paper and view the Pensioner’s data as per the role (DDO/ Sanction Authority/AG). Q 14. I’ve forwarded the Pension Paper to DDO/Sanction Authority/AG, but the Pension Paper is not visible in the system.

The employee must have been removed from the concerned DDO. Contact the concerned DDO office and get the employee added.

Q 15. No details of the employee are visible on the Home page of employee on Employee Portal.

Q 16. I can’t see the links to forward the Pension Paper to Sanction Authority/AG on the DDO Login on e-Pension Portal.

You have not received the Pension paper online yet. Click the Receive button under the DDO Action after clicking the Process link in the Application list for the respective pensioner. Applications pending to be processed by the DDO are visible on the Home page of DDO Login on e-Pension Portal.

Q 17. AG has returned my Pension Paper due to missing Pension Fixation page. What to do?

Make sure that the Pension paper has been returned to the concerned DDO by the Sanction Authority. When the Pension paper is back in DDO login, Receive it again and fill the Pension Fixation. Once done forward the same again to the Sanction Authority/AG.

Q 18. AG has returned my Pension Paper due to missing Descriptive Role page. What to do?

Make sure that the Pension paper has been returned to the concerned DDO by the Sanction Authority. When the Pension paper is back in DDO login, Receive it again and upload the Descriptive Role (page 7 of Pension paper). Once done forward the same again to the Sanction Authority/AG.

Q 19. Can I use Google Chrome/Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox/Opera etc. to access e-Pension Portal/Employee Portal?

e-Pension Portal/Employee Portal is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox. So it is advised to use Mozilla Firefox to access e-Pension Portal/Employee Portal.

Q 20. I can’t see the name of Sanction Authority in the list that I need to forward the Pension Paper. What should I do?

Download the Sanction Authority details form from the following link: https://jkuber.gov.in/jpension/frmDownload.aspx Once downloaded fill and get it signed with official stamp and send it to epension.finance@gmail.com with a copy to kuber.pmu-jhr@nic.in. The name of the required Sanction Authority will be visible within 24 hours.

Q 21 In Case of Pension Revision, Pension fixation is selected instead of pension revision. What to do?

Go to Pension Papers>Delete Pension Papers and delete the current Pension paper. Once deleted successfully fill the pension paper again as new through Pension Papers>Generate Pension Papers.

Q 22. How to check the status of Pension Paper?

To check the status of Pension Paper follow the steps below:
a. Go to https://jkuber.gov.in/jpension/frmdashboard.aspx
b. Enter your GPF/CPS/Acknowledgement number in the Search box.

c. Click Search button.

Q 23. Pension Paper is not showing in the home page of my DDO Login on e-Pension Portal. What to do?

You must have forwarded the pension paper to Sanction Authority/AG. Check the e-Pension paper status in the App Status section in your home page.

Q 24. I’m unable to see Forward to DDO button in Employee Portal while applying for Pension.

You have already forwarded the pension paper to DDO. Check your Pension Paper Status (Refer FAQ. 21).

Q 25. I’m unable to see Pension Fixation (No dues) button in Pension Portal for adding pension fixation part in DDO Login. What to do?

You have not Received the Pension paper online. Click the Receive button under DDO Action after clicking Process button for respective pensioner.

Q 26. Pension Fixation (page no. 8) not showing in print preview. What to do?

You have not filled the Pension Fixation page. Click the Pension Fixation (No dues) button under DDO Action and fill the Pension Fixation. For details on how to fill Pension Fixation refer to the user manual available on e-Pension Portal under the Manuals section.

Q 27. When do I need to update the profile of pensioner?

The Pensioner’s profile need to be updated before applying for Pension under the following conditions:
a. The employee is not alive (Death Case).
b. The employee has opted for Voluntary Retirement Service.

Q 28. How to Apply Minority School Teacher's Pension ?

A retired Minority School Teacher has to follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Online Pension:

STEP 1 - Pensioner contacts his/her concerned Office / Primary Education Department.

STEP 2 - Concerned Office / Primary Education Department Logs in to e-Pension Portal (https://jkuber.gov.in/jpension) and updates the Retiring Employee’s data. Detailed User Manual for Updating the Employee Data can be downloaded from https://jkuber.gov.in/jpension/frmManual.aspx .

STEP 3 - Concerned Office / Primary Education Department generates the Retiring Employee’s ID and Password for Employee Portal after updating the Employee’s data.

STEP 4 - Pensioner logs in to the Employee Portal (https://jkuber.gov.in/emp) using his/her Employee ID and Password generated by Concerned Office / Primary Education Department and applies for Pension Online.
